Amazon’s Customer Delivery Excellence team (CDE) is focused on ensuring that forward looking initiatives that enhance our supply chain maintain world class excellence in operational execution. In this role, you will leverage statistics and visual analysis-based techniques and tools to analyze our shipment flow from our fulfillment centers through the vendor transportation network to final customer delivery. You will partner broadly with engineering, operations, and IT functions to identify opportunities to ship packages faster and cheaper while delivering on-time to meet customer promises. Ultimately, your goal will be to realize these opportunities while working within a matrix organization to deliver results. This role provides the opportunity for broad exposure to various business, financial, and technical teams within Amazon. The candidate is responsible to lead and drive analytical projects starting from the idea inception to building out the strategy and implementing it. They will
· · Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain or related field · · 2+ years of experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analyst role · · 2+ years of experience conducting analysis and data mining using Excel · · Proficient extracting and processing data using SQL · · Proficient in data visualization platforms such as Tableau· · Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field · · 3+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analyst role
