The Amazon Media Canada team is seeking a Business Analyst to join us in this newly created role. We’re looking for an individual with excellent analytical abilities, knowledge of business intelligence solutions, as well as outstanding business acumen and the ability to work with quantitative and business teams. Our top candidate will be a self-starter comfortable forging their own trail, with a sharp eye for details, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and the ability to communicate effectively across the Canadian Senior Leadership team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Partner with the team to create key performance indicators and new methodologies for measurement · Translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders · Automate reporting for weekly business metrics; identify areas of opportunity to automate and scale
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain or related field · 2+ years of experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analyst role · 2+ years of experience conducting analysis and data mining using Excel · Proficient extracting and processing data using SQL · Experience in data visualization platforms · Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field · 3+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analysis role · Understanding of data warehousing
