Amazon’s Disability and Leave Services (DLS) team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented Business Analyst to own defining, building, and scaling metrics and analytical insights. As a business analyst, you will use your analytical mind to drive operations, strategy, and planning across domains. You will ensure that we are capturing and surfacing the right data and information to make informed business decisions, working closely with members of the Operations, Program Development and Innovations, Quality and Escalations teams. You’ll collaborate with engineers to build self-service reports and establish automated processes for large scale data analyses. You are analytical with strong business acumen and detail-oriented with proven problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate has worked in depth in identifying business
· Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or related field · 5+ years of industry experience in data analytics, financial/business planning, or operations. · 3+ years in SQL and manipulating large data sets in a database · 5+ years advanced proficiency in Excel (including VBA, Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc) and BI Platforms (QuickSight, Power BI, others). · Experience in AWS technologies · Advanced proficiency in SQL, ETL and data modeling · Excited to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies
