AWS is seeking an experienced sales operations or finance professional. The person in this role will partner with the local AWS Sales teams to operationalize best business practices across incentive compensation, territory planning, and segmentation with the goal of driving scalable business growth. This is a highly visible role and the ideal candidate must be able to develop effective internal partnerships, influence at all levels of the organization, and use data to inform insights and drive business change. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Vet and resolve issues escalated by Sales Ops related to revenue recognition, incentive compensation, and segmentation. · Provide formal mechanism to communicate input from Sales Ops to Global Business Operations teams · Advise Sales Ops on how to operationalize sales organizational changes related to sales revenue recognition, incentive compensation, and segmentation. · Identify buckets of escalations and tickets from Sales

· Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in business, accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred · 5+ years in progressively more senior sales operations roles · Strong Excel skills (Vlookup, pivot tables, report building) · Ability to source, work with, and combine multiple disparate data sets to answer business questions and isolate anomalies · Ability to influence both business and technical teams at all levels of the organization · Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills · Superior problem solving skills · Strong attention to detail · Experience in a hi-tech sales
