Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the AWS Central Financial Planning and Analysis (FP and A) group. The FP and A team is responsible for managing financial rhythms of the business, including the annual operating plan, long range plan, regular forecast process, and for providing analytical support to senior management. This role operates in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and influences the decisions of senior business leaders both within AWS and across the broader Amazon org through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of options and alternatives. This position will work closely with finance management and senior leaders across the AWS organization. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, tackle multiple projects, and efficiently execute deliverables. · Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field · 4+ years of relevant experience in a large corporate finance environment with heavy emphasis on analytics · MBA preferred · Cognos TM1 experience · Understanding of technology and web services · Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills · Proven track record of advanced analytical skills, attention to detail, dealing with ambiguity, and ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects
