AWS Marketplace is an online store that helps customers find, buy, and immediately start using software and services that run on the AWS Cloud. Our job is to bring Amazon's e-commerce expertise to cloud software and fundamentally change how software is discovered and consumed in the cloud. We are looking for a Business Development Associate (BDA) to join our fast-paced team to help Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) list their product(s) on AWS Marketplace, and grow their business on AWS Marketplace. Your responsibilities as a BDA will include onboarding vendors, helping them launch their products, and assisting them in executing a business plan to drive subscriptions to their product. You will have a demonstrated ability to think about both business and technical challenges, with the skill-set to drive tactical execution of sales and business development goals across all software categories. · BA/BS degree or equivalent professional or military experience · 1+ years technology sales, business development or sales-engineering/consulting experience and/or equivalent technical background· Previous online marketplace experience – understands the different needs of both Buyers and Sellers – online application stores, online marketplaces, etc. · Experience with varying software licensing models. · Experience working with C-Level roles in software firms. · Experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or marketing communications in a high-tech products/services environment. · Experience
