Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented and passionate Lead Product Designer to build our design and research process and team. This design leader will own the end-to-end customer experience for all Support products while managing a small team of 3-4 direct reports. Throughout the strategy, design, and development lifecycle, the leader will work collaboratively with the design team, engineers, product managers, and executives. AWS Support builds proactive customer facing applications like Trusted Advisor and Personal Health Dashboard to enable customers to optimize and manage their environments better. We deliver useful resources and tools for customers to resolve issues on their own. We connect customers to world-class Support teams when they need additional help, and we deliver the tools our Support teams use for collaborating with customers and troubleshooting customer issues. · · 8+ years of industry experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar design-related role. · Experience leading full-stack product design · Previous experience managing individual contributors, ideally while occupying a hybrid Design Lead role. · Experience creating prototypes or wire-frames for complex web applications and/or workflows. · An online portfolio demonstrating samples of design deliverables (personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes) is required to apply for this role. · Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
