The Art Director will ensure on time deliveries at the highest level of quality through strategic planning, the creation of directive materials and providing actionable, insightful feedback. Leveraging team leadership, and collaboration, they strive to motivate and elevate partner teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: o Directs and ensures the professional development of all art production via partners and internal resources. o Supervises art disciplines across internal and partner studio locations o Keeps abreast of all projects and communicates goals and objectives to the team o Provides long-term artistic vision and drives a project's visual styling o Ensures that standardized practices are implemented and applied across projects, departments and locations to meet quality and aesthetic standards o Establishes structure of internal teams and assess
Education and/or Experience: o BA or BFA degree and/or 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience. o Advanced Maya, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Perforce, and ZBrush o Knowledge of game engines and game asset creation/pipelines. o Possess creative collaboration and problem-solving skills, with an understanding that many times it's appropriate to defer to the expertise of specialists o Strategic and contemporary management skills and oriented towards the big picture and operational detail o Deadline-oriented approach, with the ability to get results even
