As a member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and launch of core product features. You will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define these product features, driving the system architecture, and spearheading best practices to enable a superior product. As a member of the Applied Science team in the Alexa Experiences and Devices organization, you will design and develop fast, efficient, and highly scalable machine learning algorithms that are applied to natural language processing problems. You'll work with senior scientists and engineers within Alexa and develop high quality software that is robust, reliable and scalable. You will gain hands on experience with Amazon’s heterogeneous structured data sources; as well as large-scale computing resources to accelerate
· Master's degree in Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Mathematics · 1+ years experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Perl or Python.· PhD with specialization in machine learning applied in natural language processing · Industry or academy experience in speech recognition, natural language processing, or general machine learning · Solid Machine Learning background with experience in supervised machine learning techniques. · Strong software development skills · Experience working effectively with science, data processing, and software engineering
