Amazon’s Payment Acceptance and Experience team develops global services to create and improve the customer paying experience. Measuring customer behavior, developing insights and monitoring our success requires large amounts of data. In this role, you will be working in one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments. You should be passionate about working with huge datasets and deploying machine learning systems into complex production environments. You should have deep expertise in creation and management of datasets and the proven ability to translate the data into meaningful insights. The right candidate will possess excellent business and communication skills, work with business owners to develop and define key business questions, and prioritize the work across your team in order to support the broader business initiatives. You should have a solid understanding of efficient and scalable ML development life cycle and a proven track record using ML to solve business
· Masters degree in a quantitative field (economics, computer science, statistics, or equivalent) · 5+ years experience applying ML to solve complex problems for large-scale applications; · Superior analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. · Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities. · Experience hiring and leading experienced scientists as well as a successful record of developing junior members from academia/industry
