At Bing we are the frontier in building the next generation of question/answer magic for Bing users across PCs, tablets, and Cortana (yes, voice inputs are welcome!). Everyday Bing is getting smarter at extracting facts and knowledge from the Web, from knowing how tall Obama is to why U2 is so popular. We need your help to turn Bing into the greatest Jeopardy! Contestant the world ever knows, blurting out answers in a fraction of a second to delight our users and grow Bing's share. You are passionate and foolish enough to make a bet on this with us, but also adept at getting stuffs done fast and furious. We are looking strong engineers and applied scientists who can help us to turn Bing into such a smart engine, which is able to answer any question that user is interested in. The role is a mainly a research scientist. The candidate is required to run experiments to improve QnA quality and experience, studies the false positive and false negative answer, propose solution and implement that. She will have plenty of opportunities to learn NLP, machine learning and other state-of-the-art AI technologies.
•3+ years programming experience •Have good understanding of state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning technologies. Hands-on experience is a big plus •BS, MS, PhD in CS, EE or equivalent
