Amazon Air is looking for a Senior Vendor Manager to provide strategic oversight to its gateway third-party partners. This individual will be responsible for ensuring contractual compliance along with measuring and enhancing gateway performance throughout the Prime Air network to ensure Amazon can continue to delight its many customers. As an external-facing member of the team, the Vendor Manager should be an articulate leader that possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence performance with third-party carriers. Responsibilities: · Drive strategic engagement with vendors to improve Customer Experience · Ensure contract execution and compliance · Work with third-parties across multiple airports to measure and improve DEA performance, Scan Compliance, and throughput (capacity) · Disposition ground delays and determine performance incentives · Develop performance metrics to assist with driving business results · Partnering with key stakeholders to define gateway
· Bachelor's Degree · Minimum of 3 years of experience working with third-party vendors · End-to-end process management experience · Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Tableau · Willing and able to travel 20%· MBA; or, graduate degree focusing on Supply Chain, Transportation, or Aviation · 5 years of experience in the ground transportation, freight forwarding, airline, cargo ground handling or air freight industry · Developing or managing complex logistical processes on a national scale Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority / Female / Disability
