Working on the Shell Foundation team, you will build the stage for the world's most amazing future performances. You will empower developers to realize their visions leveraging Windows core operating system components. And you will expand the experience of mixed reality to span all of Microsoft's VR and AR offerings. What you'll do: Write and maintain core operating system components and services that comprise the backbone of the Mixed Reality system on both HoloLens devices and PCs. What you'll need: Software engineering experience shipping customer-facing products through a whole ship cycle Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline Demonstrated experience working with modern C++ Strong debugging skills, including debugging of multi-threaded applications. Great communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams and disciplines. An appetite for achieve solid software architecture and design. Ability to understand and navigate new code bases. When problems get difficult, you persist until success!
