We are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about working with Big Data in the context of Security and building analytics solutions. Specifically, you will be focused on utilizing telemetry from across the M365 suite of products, Defender, Windows Asimov and Office, to measure and provide rich insights to help drive Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance services adoption and usage. Requirements: BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent 3 + years of experience as a software engineer working on industrial strength software and experience shipping commercial software products and services 3 + years of relevant experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches; preferably in software, online services, or cyber security 3+ years working in d istributed database systems like Cosmos, Hadoop or other big data technologies Highly desirable: Proficiency in high level programming languages such as C#, Java or equivalent for building data pipelines and data engineering
