• Recognize and chase game changing and disruptive value opportunities • Make the needed 80/20 trade off decisions to strike the balance between delivery agility, functionality, and operational scale and the dependency chains across all functions and stakeholders • Lead from front in aligning all stakeholders in making the needed and timely persevere/pivot/fail fast investment decisions • Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data-driven systems on Microsoft Azure technologies. • Design and implement new data pipelines to support Microsoft News Business charter • Work with Data Analytics, PM and
• BA/BS degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. • Capable of architecting big data and designing data pipelines on Microsoft's internal and external big data technology stack • Has an obsession for tangible and demonstrable value • Has strong user empathy with an obsession for clean and functional user experiences • Experience in one or more high level languages (C#), data manipulation (SQL, Cosmos, Hadoop), BI Tools, and/or object oriented programming language Java, C++ or Python. Spark SQL will be a plus. • Azure Databricks, Sparks and experience with big data technologies
