The objective of the Mobile Growth team is to accelerate the customer adoption and engagement of the shopping app. To support this objective, the Mobile Growth Tech Team rapidly tests new customer experiences that drive customer engagement and long-term customer value. This includes creating scalable backend services that can be leveraged across Operating Systems, devices, and even across Amazon experiences. This includes a variety of technologies including Reactive Native, Java, modified HTML, and more. It also includes leveraging new AWS technologies. You will work closely with Product Management
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline · 6+ years of relevant engineering experience · 3+ years managing software development teams including hands-on architectural or distributed systems experience · Experience with delivering software projects using Agile / Scrum methodologies· MS, Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering · A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects · Track record of bringing in and growing engineering talent · Excellent written and verbal communication
