As a Software Development Manager working within AWS Infrastructure, you will: · Lead an engineering team that will build, experiment, operate and maintain software in order to automate data center monitoring · Hire, coach, and mentor individuals · Interface with a internal customers to understand requirements, priorities, and processes · Propose and implement new projects or recommend system improvements · Drive operational excellence and own all operational metrics and support · Help develop long-term development and business technology strategies · Use available AWS related technology
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience · 4+ years of experience in software development · 2+ years of people management or team lead experience, with a focus on leading technical professionals · Technical leadership for people and projects· Possess a high level of discipline, flexibility and professionalism · Experience in Agile/Scrum framework/methodologies · Ability to work in fast-paced environment · Experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, distributed software systems · Experience using AWS services · Solid understanding
