Amazon Web Services is searching for a seasoned planning professional to drive world-wide transformation programs in Spares supply chain. The role will be responsible for managing a regionally distributed team to implement new vision for breakthrough improvement in operational performance through new processes and systems across the supply chain. The role involves working cross-functionally to design new processes, working with peers across the globe to implement them, and regular interface with senior leadership of the organization for program updates. The ideal candidates has prior experience managing and developing staff remotely, launching new operations, possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, and has strong attention to detail. The candidate must be comfortable in a highly ambiguous environment with frequent changes in priorities and be able to influence without authority. Operating in a fast-moving environment the candidate will be required to work autonomously,
· Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain or related field · 10+ years in program management / supply chain · Experience with inventory planning, logistics, and procurement · Experience with process development and improvement · MBA is strongly preferred · Experience in IT hardware industry · Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and draw conclusions · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
