Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, DCCS (Level 6) Amazon Digital Content and Commerce Systems (DCCS) is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) to join our team of Senior SDETs and Principal Engineers. In this highly visible role, you will build robust automation tools and frameworks that solve complex and hard problems. DCCS enables Amazon device and subscription businesses to innovate faster and deliver more for customers while ensuring reliability, scale, security and cost efficiency by building services and tools that are self-serviceable and configurable. The Sr. SDET role offers a unique opportunity to develop test tools to be used horizontally across a broad number of teams from content ingestion through commerce and purchase flows to royalties, content provider payments, and accounting integration. This role’s primary focus is to align distributed technologies together to consistently deliver exceptional customer experience. As a hands-on
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 4+ years relevant work experience, or 6+ years relevant work experience. · Proficiency in at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Perl. · Familiarity with various software technologies, methodologies and applied software engineering practices/standards such as Object Oriented Design (OOD), Tomcat, Struts, REST and Spring. · Automation experience (test, integration, build/release) in a distributed environment. · Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and asynchronous architecture
