Come join a creative team of engineers dedicated to making it more natural and intuitive to use AWS services from their favorite IDE and programming language. In this position you’ll build solid partnerships between AWS teams, deeply understand our customers and shape the future of the IDE developer experience for cloud development. We build language idiomatic experiences that are as welcoming as they are powerful; including libraries, IDEs, SDKs and language updates to leverage AWS and cloud technologies. Our customers want experiences that fit seamlessly into their language and IDE of choice, but when it makes sense we also want consistency across languages and IDEs. You will interact with developers all over the world to identify and resolve pain points, fill in gaps in tooling, and enhance the developer experience. You will analyze telemetry to keep us focused on our customer’s needs. You’ll also work with teams across Amazon service teams who need to provide specific IDE experiences
· Bachelor’s or Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline – or equivalent industry experience · 10+ years of relevant software development or product/program management experience · Experience delivering software developer focused products from concept to launch · Experience building passionate communities · Experience building cross-team relationships and driving initiatives across diverse teams · Exposure to a variety of languages, frameworks, toolchains · Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent technical communication
