The Advanced Technology Group (ATG), part of the Xbox org, is seeking a passionate Technical Program Manager with expertise in graphics, GPU architectures, machine learning, and middleware engines (Unity/Unreal) to join our team. ATG is at the heart of Microsoft's efforts to make games on our platforms the best they can be. We act as the voice of the game development community, working closely with our platform, publishing, and business teams across Microsoft to ensure we are providing the best platform for game developers across all disciplines. You'll work with game development partners to achieve success on our platform and services as well as working as part of a collaborative developer ecosystem team focused on the success of our customers. Work as part of the ATG Developer Ecosystem team, delivering value and impact through production of educational materials (samples/documents/demos), developer support through engagements and forum issue resolution and title risk management in conjunction with our partners in GGPD. Manage the incubation projects, programs and workload of the engineering team as needed to ensure optimal delivery and meeting quality targets through roadmaps and daily/weekly team planning, tracking and reporting. Manage issues and bugs through to resolution from developer customers to the solving development platform
Experience with machine learning, IHVs, middleware engines, rendering and related technologies Demonstrable experience of preparing and presenting materials for conferences (GDC/Xfest) 6+ years of experience program managing cross-discipline groups of developers (e.g. audio, graphics, UX, game design, engineering, etc.) Background of planning products and development through an end-to-end lifecycle, together with roadmaps, backlogs, priorities, and risk management. Proven track record of developing strong, integrated partnerships across disparate groups Ability to present at different elevations
