The Windows Dev Marketing team is looking for a passionate hero-maker, to tell the stories of amazing global devs and their creations all over the world. Those devs are building on tech like Windows, web, the Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality/Mixed Reality (AR/VR/MR), the Microsoft Bot Framework, Azure Cognitive Services, and other new technologies (some that don't even exist yet!). YOU are telling their story!!! Would you like to tell the stories of devs building tech on the Microsoft stack? Highlight them as they build apps, websites, or IoT creations that smartly identify, caption and moderate pictures? Convert

Responsibilities As a member of our team, you would: Spend time telling the stories of our cutting-edge technology – both technologies in which Microsoft already has a compelling story and relevant investment (think IoT, Windows + Azure, Mixed Reality, Microsoft Graph, Cognitive Services – as well as newer tech Get on planes, trains, and automobiles to go out and tell these stories at universities, high schools, conferences, hackathons, co-working spaces, etc Drive our creative narrative across all marketing channels and directly oversee video, social media and creative content strategy and production
Basic qualifications: 2 years of professional working experience in PR or Communications 2 years of professional working experience in Marketing Preferred qualifications: Understand how to create trust with niche (often skeptical) audiences. In love with technology and convinced of its ability to help create a better future for ALL Tuned-in to the resources, modalities, and frameworks to help early and non-traditional developers gain the tools they need to succeed A team player, collaborative, and happy to lend a helping hand to a teammate A self-starter and self-managed.
