We are building a new, emerging business in shipping. Amazon is looking for a product manager interested in building our thinking and tools to plan for, understand, and improve reliability. Our team is changing the way we interact with customers around the globe every single day and solving some of the biggest logistical challenges facing not just Amazon, but also the entire industry. We are looking for a dynamic, self-starting Product Manager to own delivery of critical planning tools that require integration with processes and technology in business and operations teams. As a Product Manager, you will write and review business cases, develop the product roadmap, and influence peers and other teams to build your vision. You will work across research science, engineering, operations, sales, customer service, and finance to guide, orchestrate and execute your roadmap. This position requires an ability to strongly communicate business direction, gain trust and manage tradeoffs across multiples
· Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or Technology, or related field · 5-7 years of project or program management experience · Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, support scope of requirements and prioritize · Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position · Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality · An entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently
