Amazon's Worldwide Prime and Marketing team is seeking an experienced HR leader to partner closely with tech leaders on organizational and talent priorities that will lead to business impact. This individual will develop deep expertise in the wide variety of technical roles at Amazon, and use this knowledge to advise senior tech leaders on topics such as tech talent management, succession planning, organizational optimization, and location strategy. This HR leader will also be accountable for driving core people priorities that are critical to the health of our tech organization such as employee engagement, maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce, top talent retention, and raising the performance bar. This requires the ability to deep dive into data to develop insights, and connect these insights with qualitative data to develop and implement high-impact, innovative recommendations. The ideal leader for this role must have the ability to learn complex, tech-driven businesses in depth
· 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist role, ideally working closely with tech leaders and employees · Proven ability to surface insights, root cause issues, and drive action plans by drawing on a diverse toolkit of people insight, data analysis, and strategic thinking skills · Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization, including senior leaders · Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document writing and presentation skills · Resilience and ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
