Amazon.com seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key partner for the high growth Advertising business, focused on the Self-Service Ad products. Amazon.com is continuing to build out its successful Advertising programs and we are looking for a highly motivated individual to perform analyses and produce metrics that will drive the high growth Self-Service business. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for overall metrics reporting/modeling and analysis during requirements planning and business reviews, product development, and commercial launches. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity; will have a passion for data and diving deep, strong appreciation for consistency in reporting, and dedication to providing insightful analysis in a fast-paced environment; detail oriented and has the ability to work well with cross-functional teams. Basic qualifications · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business, finance, engineering or a related field · 5+ years of relevant financial analysis experiencePreferred qualifications · MBA · Prior experience with SQL for data retrieval requests and analyses · Analytic, financial modeling or reporting skills required · Advanced Excel · Strong attention to detail and consistency · Exceptional analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving · Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented
