Identity Governance team Group Software Engineering
The Identity division has an exciting Group Software Engineering Manager role leading Identity Governance team. Identity is the division that builds and runs the Identity infrastructure for Microsoft – including Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Account. We serve over a billion active users and power Identity experiences at the core of almost every Microsoft product and service. Identity is a booming business being fastest in Microsoft history to reach 1B in revenue, as part of EMS suite. Identity Governance is a business space we are rapidly expanding to with a is expected to be our next big business opportunity. This is a manager of managers role leading a team of engineers within the Identity division that partners very closely with teams across Microsoft.
You'd be joining a team in a very fast growing space with a huge opportunity to make an impact at massive scale. There is a lot of room for growth in this space in both platform and customer aspects. Accountabilities include defining and executing on the Governance vision providing capabilities like JIT, access management and workflows, reviews and others. Recall the challenges most us face while running our services in a secure way, our customers have the same challenges and you will be empowered to solve it for the customers.
This is a Principal Group Engineering Manager job with lots of deeply technical opportunities, areas for innovation and lots of executive visibility and the opportunity for advancement. There is lots of cross group work, so you'll need to love that kind of work and be proficient at creating and maintaining warm and productive working relationships with other teams.
