Come work on the Amazon Prime Air Team! As an Optical Design Verification Engineer you will develop test systems and test protocols to validate optical sensor performance. The successful candidate will be able to translate design requirements into technical specifications and test plans and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to validate cameras and other optical systems designs. Export Control License This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines, with significant electro-optics experience · 10+ years of industry experience · Experience with both R and D testing and production testing of optical systems, with a focus on design of experiments · Experience in testing optical systems from scoping requirements to design, production, and field deployment· Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optical Engineering or related disciplines · Experience delivering several optics-based products to market · Excellent written and verbal communication skills with
