As part of Microsoft Consulting Services, our team solves real-world customer problems with mixed reality. We deliver value to our customers every day across devices (HoloLens, VR Headsets, phones, and tablets), industries (Public Sector, Construction, Manufacturing, Field Service, Aerospace, Communications, Healthcare, Fintech), and through the open source community. We are a global team. We design, build, learn, share, solve real challenges, and have fun doing it. We're looking for an experienced software engineer to join us in crafting these unique business solutions, while shaping the future possibilities in Mixed Reality.

Collaborate with design, art, engineering, and partner teams to deliver compelling Mixed Reality solutions to our customers Architect and implement key features and interactions as part of a cross-discipline team Identify and articulate technology infrastructure needs, both in our internal codebase and in open source, e.g. the Mixed Reality Toolkit Train customer and partner developers on best practices in Mixed Reality software development Consult regularly with team leadership to align expectations and deliverables
Required 3-5+ years of software engineering experience in MR/AR/VR, games, or other 3D experiences. Proficiency in: C#, 3D graphics, Unity or comparable game engine Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-discipline groups Self-motivated and comfortable with the ambiguities inherent in creative work Desire to innovate and take risks even under short, fixed timeframes Ability to quickly understand customer scenarios and provide targeted solutions ​ Preferred Experience shipping products to end users Experience working with Agile development methodologies Willingness to travel periodically
