We seek creative, broadly skilled engineers, with a talent for unconventional thinking and a track record of bringing innovative ideas to fruition.   We are looking for a recent graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design who enjoys bringing both technical and tactical expertise to cross-disciplinary teams. This candidate will lead sub-system designs through fast-paced product development cycles. A strong mix of technical breadth and depth will allow you to work cross-functionally to tie mechanical assemblies, optics, electronics and software into compelling consumer experiences. You will need a good eye for identifying interesting areas for investigation, creativity to generate compelling new concepts, and the ability to quickly test and express these concepts in the form of functional prototypes. You will interact with multiple groups and disciplines

As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for system design and verification/validation including (but not limited to): System level and sub-system design responsibilities in the development of concept explorations and technology investigations. Create evaluation models and systems to assess performance investigations for various technology components and product features. Interface across multiple disciplines (e.g. Program Management, Component Engineering, EE, Optics) in selection of devices for detailed development. Interface directly with sub-system partners for design of and integration
1+ years of experience in electro-mechanical product design. Experienced in designing for volume production in a wide range of manufacturing processes (CNC, Laser welding, Molding, Extrusion, lamination, printing/s, plating/s, etc.). Successful experience in meeting reliability requirements. A strong drive to experiment, prototype and improve. The ability to clearly communicate what work you have done, why it was important, and how it was different from other projects. Creativity coming up with ideas and clever solutions to problems, as well as turning around and building them. Ability to be applied:
