Role and Opportunity: The Engineering Program Lead is responsible for the design, and development of Devices for Microsoft. This person will be tasked to deliver an overall engineering solution. Interface with cross functional teams for end-to-end system integration. Travel to Asia to oversee the engineering aspects of pilot builds and direct engagement with the suppliers.

Manages to the deliverables, schedules, and costs for ongoing projects and programs, as outlined by the program team, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps. Provides direct and ongoing leadership for multiple individual contributors designing and developing engineering solutions and managing projects utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products, systems, software, and solutions. Engages with program managers, marketing, supply chain, and technical leaders to
First level university degree or equivalent experience required in an engineering discipline. Preferably Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 10 or more years of related work experience, including 5 or more years of product development experience. Experience working with and demonstrated delivery of products in an outsourced development partner model. Working knowledge of PC hardware, software, firmware, system architecture, mechanical design, power and battery architectures, input devices, etc..
