. Our newly-formed translate service team is looking to add data engineers to join us in a fun and groundbreaking environment solving a challenging set of language problems. You will work with some of the smartest people in the field to learn more about natural language processing (NLP) AI. As part of a fast growing and innovative team, you will be working with ML scientists and engineers to build extremely large scale distributed NLP AI solutions. . Our team’s mission is to provide Amazon’s customers with a superior experience in their native language by developing and deploying state-of-the art technology and applications in Machine Translation. A successful customer advocate will have strong ownership, a bias for action, solid communication skills, and the ability and drive to dive deep into unseen language problems, quickly categorizing and resolving the issues. Experience with machine translation, especially neural network systems, will be a plus. Your responsibilities will include
. 4+ years of professional translation/language QA-related experience . Project management experience . Fluent (verbal/written) in more than one language . Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science . Experience with machine translation and/or deep learning systems is a big plus .
