The Data Science team at Microsoft Cloud AI platform is looking for machine learning experts who enjoy working on complex problems that push the boundaries of natural language understanding. The opportunity is to build customer facing services that understand customers unstructured text and return actionable insights. Our work on machine learning and deep learning get shipped in the Microsoft Text Analytics Cognitive service and other Azure services. We solve problems such as: Recognize named entities in unstructured text, e.g. to understand the ingredients and their quantities in a recipe. Understand topics and categorizes of unstructured text, e.g. to detect the emotion or sentiment in a product customer review. How to encode a document into an embedding that can capture its meaning? Extract the key sentences or key phrases in a piece of text, e.g. to summarize a news article or a technical report. Enrich the search experience with insights to improve the relevance of information retrieval
Designing and developing machine learning and deep learning systems Running machine learning tests and experiments Implementing appropriate ML algorithms Develop new features that enable the development of accurate, efficient, scalable, easy to use and rapidly executable text analytics applications. Collaborate with different machine learning, program management and partner product. The ideal candidate should have strong machine learning experience, moves fast to ship their techniques and likes to solve ambiguous problems by applying the state of the art machine learning techniques. Required Skills- 5+ years of proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role is required.
