The CDS North America team is looking for a proven sales and marketing leader to run the consumer and small business businesses for Windows devices in North America. This is a big role with accountability for Windows device sales across retail, distribution, and OEM channels in the United States and Canada. We are looking for someone who can orchestrate sales and marketing plans across a retail, OEM, and silicon partner ecosystem and within matrixed sales, marketing, and product organizations internal to Microsoft. In day-to-day, this leader will be responsible for: Prioritization of initiatives (Planning) Influence retailer line logic leveraging Microsoft research and telemetry data to determine end customer needs and increase Windows share of wallet Land strong modern device assortment by retail partner, across all price bands and categories in partnership with Device Sales lead and local device partners Partner with local silicon partners (Intel, AMD) to build co-marketing plans with OEM partners Review and invest in select partner led demand gen campaigns with top retail partners, driving thru the line
Be a skillful leader, able to influence directly and indirectly through others both internally at Microsoft and externally with our business partners. Be a confident leader and presenter, representing the business in front of partners and stakeholders at all levels inside and outside Microsoft. A successful track record in managing and transforming a consumer category, while meeting sales and profitability targets.
