We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join the newly formed Small Business Empowerment team to deliver insights to support small businesses on Amazon. This person will be a founding member of this new team and will be instrumental in designing new ways to measure our progress and identify opportunities to deliver value. Our mission is to better understand the needs of Small Businesses WW, ensure that Amazon is aware of their needs and share externally what Amazon is doing for Small Businesses. The ideal candidate will be curious and comfortable digging deep to identify the best ways to source information across many different data sources. They will be comfortable working across a wide range of stakeholders and translating business requirements into meaningful data insights. The ideal candidate will also have a bias towards automation. As we invent new ways to measure our performance, we will need a talented Business Analyst to automate reporting to help the program scale. This
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or a related field · 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business analysis or comparable analytics position · Advanced skills in data mining using SQL, ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel · Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. · Ability to structure complex analysis and perform the analysis to drive insights · Proven problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and
