The EHS Manager, Operational Excellence will be responsible for supporting Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) locations globally through effective risk reduction project identification, management and execution. The EHS Manager, Operational Excellence will leverage Lean Six Sigma processes and tools to conduct thorough analysis on EHS operational trends to identify continuous improvement opportunities and EHS risk reduction initiatives to provide a safe working environment for our Associates. This role will partner with cross-functional counterparts and internal and external stakeholders to execute risk reduction projects and deliver process efficiencies and improved operational performance. The EHS Manager, Operational Excellence will drive EHS simplification efforts to streamline EHS and business processes to deliver additional organizational efficiency and standardization. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety or Engineering field · Minimum of 10 years’ experience in EHS discipline or engineering field · Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Training and/or Certification · Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment · Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability · Experience leading change in multiple site environment and managing multiple direct reports · Experience working globally · Travel up to 40%, including internationally PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Masters Degree · Certified
