The Kindle Content Design Studio creates the full breadth of solutions that power the world’s biggest and most loved digital reading products. This includes everything from the tools and services that authors and publishers use to make their books, the discovery and shopping experiences our customers use to find their next great read, and the apps and e-readers used for reading across the globe. We strive to meet the needs of authors and readers of every kind of book, magazine, comic, and educational material. To help us delight our customers, we are seeking a talented, creative, and customer-obsessed UX Researcher to join the Studio at our downtown Seattle, WA location, reporting in to our Head of Research. What you will do In this role you will help execute Kindle’s research strategy, working closely with partners to understand the largest challenges and opportunities we face. You are highly collaborative, with a strong record of influencing outcomes and proposing well-informed new directions

· 3-6 years of applied industry experience conducting UX research. · Masters in Human-Centered Design, Human Factors, Cognitive/Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, or related discipline. · End-to-end experience with all aspects of the user research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, communicating). · Applied experience with usability testing, remote testing, concept evaluation, field research, and survey design. · A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g.: study plans, reports, and data visualizations).·
