As a Technical Writer on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Identity, and Access Management team, you will have the exciting opportunity work with a stellar technical team to produce product documentation in a cross-functional, distributed environment. To enable this, the technical publications team plays a vital role in getting out customers up and running quickly and making sure that the details of our products are clearly described and easy to follow. The ideal candidates have both a technical background that enables them

· A minimum of 5 years in a technical writing or lead writing role · Proven experience designing and delivering developer-oriented documentation · Experienced using multiple documentation tools to develop base templates and manipulate output styles · Experience with XML-based publishing systems · Experience working directly with development teams· Degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field highly desirable · Strong grammar skills · Strong written and verbal communication skills · A understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) · An understanding of authentication and authorization
