Amazon.com has an immediate opening for a Technical Program Manager with the InfraOps Reliability This individual will be responsible for leading processes improvement for project management and project planning in the data center operations space. Work is inherently cross-functional and cross-organizational, and includes stakeholders across DCGS and InfraOps. A successful PM in this role will not be afraid to dive deep, ask challenging questions about complex and ambiguous activities, and get stuff done! The successful candidate will be an exceptionally strong communicator both written and verbally, and will lead multi-discipline, highly technical program initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and successfully managed multiple enterprise-scale technology projects within a data center environment. The ideal candidate possesses 7-10 years of experience in technical program management, plus experience managing complex, large-scale technology initiatives that span
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience · 7+ years of project management experience · 6+ years experience in data centers or experience in critical environment · 5+ years of experience with complex technology infrastructure projects and demonstrated excellence · Experience in core program / product management disciplines including: road-mapping, organizational adjacency mapping, metrics planning/deployment, schedule management, cost model development. · Basic understanding data center operations and core functions · Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, and MS Sharepoint · Exceptional
