Amazon’s advertising measurement and optimization team seeks a Software Development Engineer. We are working on pioneering measurement approaches to close the loop and drive efficiency for marketing activities. The team builds quantitative analysis and models to study and optimize the dollar spend on marketing activities. As the lead software engineer for this group you will be responsible for architecting and delivering the first generation cross-channel attribution platform. In addition you will raise the bar on an already well developed set of analytic frameworks that drive measurements and decisions across multiple marketing channels. You will be designing analytic applications that capture data from disparate sources, draw econometric inferences from statistical algorithms and drive optimal decision making. You will apply your expertise to build software capable of attributing consumer activity to marketing campaigns. You will partner with the best technology solution providers at

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience · 6+ years of broad engineering experience including infrastructure and application development · Proven track record of leading the delivery of large-scale, high-quality systems ·Experience using at least one of MATLAB, SAS, Weka, Python. Hands-on experience working with R is required · At least 6+ year experience programming in Java and or C/C++ · Experience with Agile Management, OO Modeling, UNIX, and database related projects · Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, e.g., logistic regression, decision trees, SVMs, neural networks
