We are looking for an ambitious DevOps Engineer to join a fun, hard working team dedicated to bringing cutting edge deep learning technologies to Neural Translation services at Amazon! The ideal candidate will be excited to work in a fast-pace, challenging, rapidly scaling environment. Must be an excellent team player, yet able to manage their own projects, big and small. Your roles: · · Lead and develop global teams of engineers, growing their knowledge and skillset. · · Administer, monitor, and deploy systems and services on AWS and cloud platforms. · · Help lead initiatives for upgrading and scaling our systems to improve availability, reliability, and performance. · · Support other technical teams in monitoring operating efficiencies of the platform, and responding as needs arise. · · Recommend alternative design and platform decisions. · · Collaborating with technical leads to integrate an end-to-end design that's well documented.
· 5+ years of industry experience, including 2+ years in a System Engineering or DevOps role · Experience in Linux systems administration · Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl, orPHP · Experience writing Infrastructure-as-Code e.g. using CloudFormation and Terraform · Experience with configuration management and continuous integration/deployment technologies · Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks e.g. CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, Opentracing, AWS X-Ray · Experience with primary AWS offerings such as EC2, ELB, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS ·
