Amazon Legal has an excellent opportunity for a systems development engineer who is looking to embrace high level of ownership in a growing team that is very customer focused. In this role you will spearhead all aspects of our Windows infrastructure, third party applications, SharePoint servers and solution architecture; ensuring we have a secure, extensible, and highly available platform enabling effective operation for the Legal department internally as well as with other business partners in Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be our primary administrator and developer for various third-party products and in-house built applications. As a systems engineer you will own the underlying infrastructure, including databases, file servers, EC2 instances, and operating systems ensuring that backups, maintenance, and performance monitoring are operating properly. - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience. - 5+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering or Systems Development Role mainly within an MS Windows Server environment. - 5+ years of advanced hands on experience with SharePoint Administration, SharePoint Framework (Modern and Classic sites), SharePoint Hybrid (SPO and OnPrem), CSOM (.NET, REST, JavaScript), SharePoint Apps (SharePoint Hosted and Provider Hosted Apps), Claims aware .NET Applications, Content Management, Collaboration, Workflows and Server-Side Customizations. - 5+ years of hands on experience
