Are you a software engineering manager with a passion for providing cloud storage to consumers? Do you want to manage the highly scalable back-end services, support infrastructure, or mobile applications for Amazon's consumer cloud offerings, Drive and Amazon Photos? We are gearing up to launch new products and features that just may change how people view the Cloud. Who you are: You are an experienced Software development manager with more than 3 years of experience owning the operational support and scalability of a highly visible service or mobile application. You have managed and mentored team members to dive into issues, identify root causes, and find efficiencies in your services. · Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering field or equivalent · 3 to 6 years of experience in a Team Lead or Manager position · 5+ years’ experience in a distributed systems background and an understanding of a stringent SLA based environment· Experience in managing large scale highly available distributed systems · Experience in distributed system development in an agile environments · Data mining and analytical skills as well as proven process management skills · Ability to think on behalf of the customer and champion improvements to the service to deliver measurable customer value · Strong understanding
