The Alexa Natural Language Understanding (NLU) Interpretations team enables tens of thousands of internal and external developers to increase Alexa’s capabilities much more rapidly, in every language. We’re building a new team to support technology transfer and training for Alexa Domain teams to build their own NLU models, using the NLU Interpretations tools and services. Our team is made up of inspired product managers, strong technical leaders, and motivated, autonomous software engineers and scientists. As the leader of the Solution Architect team, you will hire and develop the best. You’ll build the right tools and training materials and define the process for onboarding our customers. You’ll help our customers build NLU models using our technology and help us launch a new product across the company. You will be diving deep into the details while providing strategic inputs for the product. You will work closely with product managers, senior and peer-level scientists software engineers
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline · 5+ years’ experience working on software architecture and cloud computing · 2+ years as a consultant or in a customer facing role · 1+ years experience as a manager · 1+ years experience with machine learning systems and model training · Customer facing skills at all levels of a partner organization and a strong passion for helping customers plan and build on our technology · Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Passion
