We are the Data Visualizations and eXperiences (DVX) team and are in charge of Business Intelligence scenarios for Excel and the rest of Office. We are searching for passionate engineers who want to work on one or more of the following: Unifying and improving the data stack for all Office products Data analysis on all platforms Modern data visualizations Service-backed Intelligence and Machine Learning Real time collaboration Enabling all users to leverage the full power of Excel Initial work is expected to be in the Business Intelligence space – working in Excel on Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, Slicers,
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or similar OR in place of this 1+ years of industry software engineering experience • 2 years of programming experience writing code in an object-oriented programming language such as Java, C++, C#, Python, etc. Preferred Qualifications: • Curiosity and willingness to learn. • Ability to effectively communicate technical subjects at varying levels of technical detail. • Commitment to being a participant in creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
