The Azure Monitor Core team in Observability Products is responsible for helping converge on a scalable monitoring, diagnostics and analytics system for all Microsoft. We are responsible for keeping thousands of applications across hundreds of thousands of servers around the world humming - and when something starts to go wrong, our engineers need the best infrastructure available to get things back on track. We are looking for a skilled user-centered developer who is passionate about building and refining streamlined, performant, and powerful interfaces for on-call engineers. You will be building web-based user experiences for Azure Monitor and Geneva/the Observability Platform, which front a diverse set of tools ranging from real-time metrics and scalable log-search to focused diagnostic and configuration applications. In doing so you can work down the stack – or if you prefer, focus on the nuances of the in-browser side. Your work will be directly exposed to thousands of internal users of the platform
The ideal candidate would have: 3+ years of experience with user-oriented design and web applications BS or MS in CS or equivalent working experience Experience with some or all of: TypeScript, JavaScript, C# Passion and drive to create and own usable, streamlined experiences. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
