As an Engineering Manager you will lead your team to create new scalable systems to fulfill customer requests, analyze huge amounts of customer data to define and resolve customer friction, and deliver big results for customers. You'll work directly with senior business leaders to find ways to achieve aggressive goals, and innovate to find the perfect customer experience for engaging customers with Amazon Music. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline · 5+ years of relevant engineering experience · 2+ years people management experience · 3+ years Java services development experience · Experience with back-end distributed systems · Knowledge of the Agile Development Methodology· Deep hands-on technical expertise in service oriented architecture · Strong business and technical vision · Ability to handle multiple contending priorities in an energizing environment · A deep understanding of software development in a team, and experience shipping software
