We are thrilled to have a Software Development Engineering opening for you in the Spock Team! As part of the Spock team you’ll work on the most advanced systems in Inventory Placement. We protect inventory availability for customer delivery speed, manage inventory balance between FCs, and we replenish inventory to our growing secondary networks including Prime Now, Prime Wardrobe, Bookstore, Campus and international marketplaces! Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation. One year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation must involve: writing software in an object-oriented language; data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and asynchronous architectures; familiarity with a Unix/Linux development environment; and understanding of system and application performance characteristics.Applicants must meet all of the above
