It combines the best parts of a neighborhood bookstore with Amazon.com's technology and the expertise of passionate, knowledgeable staff who tailor their approach to the unique needs of each customer. • Amazon Go is a new kind of store with no lines and no checkout—you just grab and go. Customers simply use the Amazon Go app to enter the store, take what they want from our selection of fresh, delicious meals and grocery essentials, and leave the store. The team works together to craft and maintain the quality of the varied Amazon technology in our stores. The Role: As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will help take on a variety of technical challenges. You will play an active role in building an automation framework that other testers will rely on every single day. You'll also work in product code to exact integration tests. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. • 3+ years of experience in software development/test. • Please be fluent in: Java, C#, C, or C++; and Python, Perl, or PHP. • Working knowledge of front-end web development. • Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis. • The ability to produce bullet-proof code that is fault-tolerant, efficient and maintainable. • You should have a holistic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and strong project planning/execution skills, including estimating and scheduling. • Experience writing automation
