We’re looking for a strong Software Development Engineer to join the Catalog Risk and Protection team. This is your opportunity to be a part of our team whose core vision is to prevent bad listings from entering the catalog, protecting Customer trust and providing a hassle-free shopping experience for our customers on Amazon. You will be joining a team of highly motivated, incredibly talented individuals building state of the art, innovative solutions that identify, prevent and act on all forms of abuse on the catalog. As part of our team, you will be building low latency, high throughput systems to safeguard the Amazon catalog from fraud. You will work closely with Data Scientists to scale ML models that detect risky listings across Amazon's catalog. You will also work with a variety of stakeholders including business and engineering teams across
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field · Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, algorithms and data structures · At least 1+ year of experience designing and developing large-scale, distributed software applications. · Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perls· 3+ years industry experience as a Software Engineer or a Software Developer · Experience building complex, scalable, high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers · Experience in Machine Learning
