The organization owns the software solutions that power the AWS website and blogs, their documentation and learning materials, the pricing of all AWS services, the e-mail marketing platform, and other customer-facing and internal tools. The vast majority of the projects the team works on are based on native AWS solutions and services such as DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudFront, Kinesis. The team enables hundreds of product owners and service managers to successfully push content to our customers, and to deliver high quality content to our customers worldwide. As Software Development Engineer for the AWS Engineering team, you will join a fast growing tech organization with
o 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. o Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design. o 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems. • M.Sc. in Computer Science or related field. • Strong design skills around the user experience. • Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development. • Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe CQ, or Ad serving
